Moved

Here we are, all moved in. Wouldn't you know it, the only thing that didn't survive the move (that we have found) was my computer. Well, I should clarify, it survived the move but it has been giving me an attitude for the past year and this past week it decided it wasn't going to start. Not a big deal, I have our laptop running Windows 7 Beta (the next Microsoft Operating System that will be released next year) and so I am at least able to get on the internet and do some stuff. All of our pictures, music, finances are loaded on the other computer so we don't really have much to work with there, but I can get those off the hard drives later. For now, I am happy with the laptop and I will make it work. I am thinking of building another computer, so it will be nice to have that to work on this winter.

As far as the move, it went rather smoothly. No major problems and we have all of our stuff here, it's just a matter of finding it. We are slowly cleaning rooms and moving our things into them. This house has had a sad existence the past 5 years and it is in need of some serious cleaning! Laura is one of the best cleaners I have ever seen and I have great faith that she will get the job done. With my organization skills and her cleaning skills I predict that within the next year we will have one fine looking place! At least, that is the hope anyway - there is a lot to do though.

Well, without the use of some pictures a blog just isn't worth making a long publication so I will leave it with that. Until again
