Are You An Idiot?

There is one simple way for me to determine how smart you really are or perhaps lack there of. Quite simply, I just have to wait until some severe weather shows up in the area and then watch your reaction. With that in mind, I have determined nearly everyone on my street is an idiot beyond reasonable doubt, as what proven evident no more than an hour ago. **The picture below was from a storm a few weeks ago.**

This evening around 10:00 p.m. we had a squall line roll through most of Nebraska. Although they usually are not as dangerous as tornadoes they still have the ability to ruin your day. The storm was producing winds up to 80 mph (130 kph) and throwing some trash and loose chairs, ect. around. The civil defense sirens (tornado sirens) went off to warn people to seek some shelter from the strong winds - the clouds were clearly not rotating so there was no threat of a tornado - yet people still came out of their homes to look up at the sky to see if they could get a glimpse of the twister... Give me a break people! About the time that 50' tree comes crashing down on your head, you will realize you've made a bad decision.

Use some brains folks.

Until again
