Roll Over!

Rolling over is the theme of my blog entry today. No, Emryk isn't quite rolling over yet, although he has managed to get onto his side a few times without much trouble. He will be rolling over very soon, and then we will have our work cut out for us - not only will he be demanding, but he will be mobile too! I'm trying to get this blog posted as fast as possible because Emryk is sleeping and Laura is at work, so I have very limited time to turn my back!

This afternoon gasoline in Kearney rolled over, or perhaps rolled back. $2.99/gallon! HOLY COW, back below $3? Most people didn't think we would ever see it happen again. I have heard a few places east of Kearney are even cheaper.

Finally, my GPS has rolled over 100,000 miles. In less than 4 years I have traveled over 100,000 miles with my GPS in hand, or at least next to me in the car. In fact, I have gone farther than that, but I didn't always have my GPS handy. Just like yesterday, I went to Halsey Forest in the Nebraska Sandhills - a 250 mile trip - and didn't take my GPS along. I was there to look at the tree nursery and examine the inventory for next spring. I brought a few trees back to see how they do this winter - I have them planted in planters in front of our duplex, so who knows how they will do...

Well, I hear Emryk awake after his quick ciesta so I must go!

Until again
