Travel Bug On The Move

With Emryk keeping us so busy lately we haven't had much time to get out and geocache. Yesterday I did find a cache when I was checking groundwater levels - I took a five minute break and found a geocache we had missed early this summer.

Later, Laura and I took a run on the trail and found a new geocache while out for our jog with Emryk in the baby jogger.

Today our Travel Bug known as Johnny Cache was picked up from Louisiana and is headed for Tennessee. It has now traveled over 3,000 miles since we dropped it off in Winnemucca, Nevada back in March of 2007.

Laura and I will be heading to Lincoln this weekend to see the Huskers take on Baylor and hopefully we can go a little geocaching while we are there. We had thought we could make it to 2000 finds by New Years, but the way things are going currently we might be lucky to make it to 1900.

Hopefully I won't forget the camera this weekend and I will be able to blog about our day in Lincoln next week! Until again
