Getting Nowhere...FAST!

As I sit here watching the snow fall outside, while I should be traveling down the road to Cheyenne, I wonder how it is time can speed up and get away from me so quickly. Another year has passed and now 2010 is 'last year.' Really? 2010. When I was a kid, 2000 was a VERY far thought, no one ever talked about 2010. We would be wearing computer clothes and have the ability to travel anywhere we wanted to with new technology that could zap us there in moments... Did someone forget to invent this stuff? I'm still waiting for it...

Although, getting there is half the fun. My drive today to Cheyenne won't be all that enjoyable due to the snow and high winds - near blizzard like - yet I still think it will be an enjoyable trip. Seeing the countryside, well hopefully we can see it, and making our way down the road is what I enjoy the most. Getting there IS half the fun for me, but then again I haven't left yet today and the snow keeps falling... Which reminds me, I need to pack the van and scoop the driveway. If being there is half the fun, and getting there is half the fun, I think it's safe to say that getting started isn't very much fun.....
